It's the return of the 80's! What goes around comes around and right now we are living for anything 80's. Think big structured silhouettes featuring shoulder pads, white suit dresses, crop tops, corseted details, metallic shoes - the list goes on.

Here is how to modernise the look today!

There was a time there a few years ago sadly when leopard print was not in favour, it's now time to dust off that animal inspired jacket and start rocking it because this time around it will give you instant street cred and edginess. Selling out everywhere, head into Westfield Penrith and find the Bardot leopard coat, pair with a black lace slip dress like the Woven Margot version from Cotton On and add some edge with black boots like the Wittner Honesty ankle boot.

Shoulder pads when used in blazers and structured dresses are the gift that keeps on giving, visually slimming the bulkiness up top actually helps to slim around the waist and hips area. Look sharp in the Witchery Classic Blazer. An Expertly tailored fit with a defined silhouette pair back the look with denim jeans, a striped tshirt and cute leather flats- perfect for cafe hopping on the weekend.

Denim jackets. Back then it was too easy to throw on a boxy oversized denim jacket over any outfit as long as you had the teased big hair to match. Today take the 80's classic and rework it with a sweet floral skirt or dress buttoned at the collar don't forget your ray bans! Cool and casual outerwear sorted.

Skip the big necklaces and go for a minimal neckline with off the shoulder tops and dresses. Perfect evening wear for the woman who wants to show skin without going short or lowcut. Modernise the look by skipping the chunky waistbelt and add sleek barely there heels.

Last but not least the 80's trend to jump on is metallic footwear. This look is definitely one for the brave, keep the rest of your outfit neutral and toned down to really showcase your standout shiny chrome statement heels. Prepare for tonnes of compliments every time you wear the Cash ankle boots from Betts. Ultra flashy in liquid silver, wear the block heeled pointy toe boots with denim and floaty dresses.
